FREE Sale

Here is my attempt at posting from my kid's computer. No wonder they hate this computer, the keys fall off as you're typing. The mouse also goes wherever the heck it wants to. So, I'll keep it short and sweet.

I've been sorting through stuff constantly for the last week or so. I'm trying to weed out all the stuff I don't want to take with me. I have a serious need to unload. I'm not sure if I'm trying to unload my old life, or just the stuff. As I keep at it I've begun to realize how overwhelmed I am and am starting to freak out a little inside. Will I get all this crap out in time?

So I came up with a plan. I started listing my things online (before my computer fried) and people have been buying things and hauling them away! Every time something leaves the house I giggle internally that I managed to get it hauled away and they paid me! (insert evil laugh here)

Selling online is hard though, because people constantly make appointments to come and get things never to be heard from again. Then I am left waiting and emailing, waiting and returning calls, waiting and waiting.

So last night I decided I needed to step it up. I posted FREE SALE online and people have been feverishly tearing through my carport filling their arms and vehicles and running off with guilty looks on their faces. (insert second evil laugh). It turns out my theory is correct. Some people cannot resist the seductive lure of FREE.

Jon just told me to leave you a comment from him that will make you laugh. When I asked him what, he said "hmm I don't know"

Knowing him if he could think of something it would have something to do with boobs and testicles.

He just told me he approves and thinks you are Awesome! (as do I)

Humans are such a weird bunch. They do indeed feel that free means good. Keep on giggling.

people will take anything.. as we say in my neck of the woods "They want owt for nowt"

anything for nothing in other words.. you should have had a car port sale and sat there with a little tin collecting money as people buy you un used toilet seat and vibrating mouse mat hahaha

Mit schuldbewusstem Gesichtsausdruck? Ha ha. Sehr anschaulich gesprochen. Ich sehe es mit meinem "inneren Auge". Schönes Bild. Ja ja.

(With guilty looks on their faces? Ha ha. Very vivid spoken. I can see it with my "inner eye". Nice picture. Yes yes.)
