Fucking Pain Chart

I made a fucking Pain Chart today. I feel some fucking level of fucking pain every fucking day from muscles, arthritis, carpel tunnel et-fucking-cetera. Most fucking things cause some level of fucking pain including any fucking thing I like to do... which really sucks balls. My newly found fun of hooping fucking well causes my hips to fucking ache. I feel like I could fuck'n well scream. I call no fucking fair because this is completely fucking sucktastic. The fucking pain chart will hopefully show me exactly what leads to what fucking pain I have the next day, then hopefully I will be able to minimize it.

And you may have noticed my colourful new language. Apparently cursing can help relieve pain according to this news article. Funny how things work. I found that article today, the day I made the Fucking Pain Chart.

I was JUST saying how swearing improves nearly everything. Or at least makes it bearable. I approve of the salty new language. And I'm sorry about the pain. Hope you feel better after the cussing. xoxo

I heard about swearing and pain and am ready to give it a shot. I do like your idea of a pain chart... I am trying to get a better handle on my back pain... Have a fucking wonderful day!

Sometimes just getting the loud angry words out makes it feel better, at least mentally. I hope the pain starts to subside!

i find that tracking pain is really helpful. if i find what triggered it i can avoid it next time. of course sometimes there is no trigger or at least i can't find it. maybe i need a more advanced chart.

oh yes and fucking swearing is really helpful. if you have kids just carry a little *bleep* button around with you.

I like the bleep button idea.

English: fuck
German: fick (says sexual intercourse)

When we curse, we sometimes use the word fuck but almost never fick.
I use it (if ever) only in a variation. Use the English form, but German pronunciation.
This combination sounds funny to me. The pronunciation of the letter u is like English oo. Because a ck follows is the pronunciation of the oo short and harsh.
Try it once.

Foock this damned pain!

Great input, Jens! I'll try it right now as I go hiking up the mountain.

And if you or anyone else has some "salty' language that they want to add here, please do :)

Abso-fucking-lutely :-)

A combination of swearing and alcohol improve most things, I find.
(...But then I am British!!!)

Hope the pain eases xxxx

Ach, I feel your pain. Long term high dose prednisone given to me for asthma as a kid now means tendonitis issues in my knees, hips and shoulders.

Ah, fucking grand, innit?

I'd like to try the swearing thing- I am in pain a lot, seems like all the time! I want to try swearing more.

In England we say "bugger-it" (bug-ha-rit) which has a nice push in the beginning and ends with a final "T"

???

I really like your blog by the way.

I *fuck* need *wank* to *bollox* swear *asshole* a *pigbum* lot *bloody* today! Pigbumbolloxarsefuckwankshit!!!!

:) The joy of venting pain. I also find shouting swearwords very loudly into a good strong wind is most useful in drawing the pain out. Volume some how makes the swearing work even better.

Feel better soon lovely lady!

P.S. When you start hooping you use long unused muscles, so the aches and pains will pass as your muscles strengthen. Just remember to do lots of muscle stretching and warm up exercise before you hoop each time.

I am so sorry that you are in pain. I used to have chronic pain due to neurological surgery that I had and I thought I was going to cut my arm off, it hurt so bad. I ws at the end of my rope and started seeing an acupuncturist because I really didn't know what else to try and I wasn't going to have surgery again. It worked! It really worked. I was pain free for the first time in years. Not sure if that is something you could look into but just a suggestion. Fucking pain fucking hurts.

Ever watch Scrubs? They use "frick" and "double frick" which cracks me up, although I only use in lieu of fuck when I am in public school teacher mode. :) I made a pain chart a while back too, and if nothing else it has made me so much more aware of patterns in pain. I know it sucks and I hope that someone can do something for you. How fucking awful to have your life altered by such pain. And yet you make it look so easy in the Wonder Woman headpiece!

much love, my friend,

Watch this:

"Ess dein Schnitzel sonst kriegst du keinen Nachtisch"
Haha. It reminds me strongly of my childhood. The German brothers (Müller-eng. Miller- is the most common German family name) have a terrible Danish accent. The female doctor in this scene speaks German almost perfectly. Even the pronunciation of the R and CH is very good. Speech rhythm / rate are correct. It's hard to hear that their mother tongue is English. She has certainly practiced hard.

On crutches/walker until surgery on August 25th...will keep you updated!

I totally agree with you, exercises are very helpful to maintain weight and get rid of back pain. But I am confused, which kind of physical exercises are helping us to get relief of back pain .
