In the Late of the Night

Last night I was in bed and my middle son asked if he could use my makeup. "Um, sure" I said, "But don't wreck it". This isn't the first time they've tried prettying themselves up but I was a little surprised because it's the first time in many years.

My (3)sons have been raised as unique individuals by an artist mom, so I think creative expression flows easily for them. My middle son actually sewed himself a pair of fuchsia shorts when he was in middle school (where the kids are relentless) and proudly wore them regularly. Once a kid tried to tease him by yelling, "HEY! You're wearing pink shorts!" but my son who is naturally bigger and buffer than everyone else just looked him dead in the eye and said, "So?" The teasing stopped there.

This is also the son that is primped and preened at all times. I call him my princess which is funny because he is such a handsome manly guy.

So, as I was imagining my handsome 15 year old popping back in with some rocking eye shadow, I was quite surprised when he popped back in with...

a mustache.
So much hilarity ensued that naturally my 14 year old had to be 'stached as well.

For some added flavour he shadowed in a unibrow.

That Shamwow guy better watch out, he has some serious competition coming his way. These guys are going to make him eat that Shamwow for breakfast because they are definitely the next big infomercial sensation.

So here I am, the proud mama of two baddass, good look'n boyz. I think they have model potential, no?
