Photopolooza

I'm sick of photos of myself so I'm throwing in a few pages from my portfolio.

Sad story. I went out and bought a remote for my camera which isn't even here. I miss my camera!

I'm excited about tomorrows post. I have dug up some great photos. They are a little bitter sweet but I think they will give me the motivation I need to get painting.

WooHoo!

Photopalooza -Day 5

I like my family photos. What I like about them is that my children do not look like poster children. That's fitting because they are not poster children.

They have personalities that are strong, compassionate, wild, real and beautiful.

They are kind and considerate and strong enough to follow their own paths.

They are crazy, expressive, intelligent and perfect in a far from perfect way.

They can roll with the punches and upsets in life in a way most adults could not.

They whine, they cry, they wrestle...Good God do they wrestle. If I were trying to raise ninjas, then mission accomplished.

My co-photographers in crime.

Photopolooza

This post name is inspired by Kelly from Chemopolooza. Hey Kelly!

I'm SO lost without my camera but it has inspired me to look through all my past photos. I keep meaning to post some of them but I have too much fun making new ones!

Now that my camera will be gone for 2 weeks, I will be posting one photo a day (possibly more) from the last year and a half when I bought my camera.

There is a real mix, from family pictures to intense photo documentation of my cancer treatment. I'm going to kick it off with this photo of my youngest son and I. He shaved his head in support, in front of all of my family and friends. I left for my bone marrow transplant the day after this was taken. I didn't come back for over three months.
