I called my doctor today. I was hoping to get in to see her Friday and then was really hoping to get in today. I'm trying not to feel stressed about the results of my ultrasound. I was feeling downhearted when I got off the phone with the office and was about to spiral down into a little cry fest when I remembered to check my mail.
There was a little something special in there for me!
I knew Trinlayk from Etsy had sent me something so I had haunted my mailbox for days.
She makes the most amazing little Amigurumi for her Etsy shop.
But WOW! Was I ever surprised when I opened it!
She had made me a little stem cell named Savannah. Savannah is all about tiaras so we bonded instantly.
She's already getting to know the place and has made herself comfortable in my studio. From what I can tell, she seems to be a natural artist.
This is one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received. I mean really, who would ever have thought of making a stem cell? Awesome. Thank you Trinlayk!

That is just fantastic! LOVE the crown.
Wow, love the addition of the tiara...
Now I'm imagining a photo series of you and Savannah sharing awesome adventures.
Me too, trinlayk.
I'm hoping she'll take me to Australia.
Oh man! That is SO great!!! What an uplifter.
Savannah is ace! I think she needs a robot costume so she can join in the robot challenge ;)
That's precious. What a cute little stem cell!
Just checking to see if you and Savannah had created a robot yet...but Lynne's idea for a robot costume is a good idea for her! She could have a Wonder Woman type belt for her secret robot powers, and a cuff too. Didn't WW have a cuff?
Love it! :)

Oh now you need a tiara, too!!!!! Days are better with tiaras.
(((((Good thoughts all around.)))))
Love your presentation! Your blog is awesome.
A wonderful treat. I love mail for this very reason.
It's very hard to beat a plushy stem cell sporting a tiara. Really. We tried and couldn't do it!
What a marvelous gift!
Cute cell - and in tiara it looks hillarious.
All the best for you both then.
How cute!
I've finished my Robot. You can see him here
