Melting

So the crunch time is now. My son is graduating this week and I am having my vagina surgery this week.

Monday -fly to Vancouver for an unexpected anaesthesiologist appointment
Tuesday -take son #2 to Dr because he thinks he has a cracked rib.
Wednesday- Have to clean the houe, cook turkey and have my sons grandparents, my sons dad, sons girlfriend and her parents. The we go to the walk up.
Thursday- drive to Vancouver for surgery, stay overnight at the Cancer lodge.
Friday -first thing in the morning have my surgery
Come back Friday
Saturday- sons prom where he will be dressed up in his tux.

I can' believe this is happening. My sons grad is supposed to be about HIM. Not my fucking surgery.

I also don't have any money. As in no money for rent. No money for a grad present. I have a credit card for the dinner and then I'm done financially. I'm not sure what will happen next.

I refuse to give up being productive some way which pays monetarily. I need money. The costs of my medications are just not on the budget.

Ugh, I'm sorry this is all happening at once. Your son will totally understand. I'm surprised that he graduates before his prom, but you'll obviously have to take lots of pictures!

As for the money shortage, have you looked into the Leukemia and Lymphoma society (not sure if it exists in Canada- but it's worth a shot!) they will give up to $5,000 towards medical expenses....

I'm sure there are other grants and assistance you can find online as well. I wish I was rich, I'd throw you some cash. For now, I'll just think happy thoughts and hope things work themselves out. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. PS what did you want to get your son for his gift?

XO to you and your vadge!!

hey,
I'm sorry it is all happening a once. Your sons graduation and prom will go smoothly... I promise even with your surgery and other stuff looming about he will feel special for those events... Prom and graduation are both things that have a life of their own... so many people and excitement... I wouldn't worry too much about him. He will have a great time.

As for the money stuff... have you thought about an auction with your paintings... or prints of your paintings? I'm sure Crazy Sexy Life would host something. Your paintings are so lovely. Other then that Kelly Kane is right... there are grants and assitance out there... I'm not sure how it works in Canada (of course applying for that stuff takes time... which is hard when someone is as busy as you are)...

Well, I'm thinking of you... hopeing your surgery helps and knowing that your sons graduation and prom will be wonderful for him. Sorry I don't have more to offer.

I think the BC gov should pay for all our drugs...we pay for their vacations and their clothing allowence and what ever they need personally...in France health care and drugs are free...it's a scam...We buy needles and meth for drug users..this would all be free for you if you hung out on the street more...as for Baby Boy number 1...yeah him...and you have a big family...ask them to help with the work and delegate some of the finacial burden on to them...if they want to eat..they should do some of the work..your having surgery for god sake..especially Daddy...let him make up for all those years he wasn't around... and you did all the work and got this boy through school on your own..it's your grad day tooooooo
