Stem Cell Donations

It's much easier than it used to be.

Sign up today and you may save someones life. My brother saved my life but I was one of the lucky ones. There is only a 25% of a sibling matching. This leads the others to need an unrelated donor. That could be you!

Sign up now.

Spread your happy cells around.

Sadly they won't even allow me to donate blood, so they don't want my happy cells. They say I'm too much of a sickly weakling... Pffft to my stupid body!

I would encourage everyone who they will accept to sign up though. You never know if one day it could be you or yours that need the match.

I'm all for making donation an opt out option rather than an opt in one.

No worries, if you're not allowed. There are a lot of reasons that they will disqualify people.

I know several people who would love to give but for various reasons can't and it makes them feel really bad.

Nobody wants any part of my body.

I have got to figure out which group I signed up to be a donor for. I've contacted two different groups to make sure they had my updated address, and they both said I wasn't on the list.

Crap. I know I went to the hospital and I know I paid $65 for the test. Which organization was it?

Probably need to just re-do it....
